THE SOBER CREATIVE

A COACH FOR THE WORK BETWEEN SEESSIONS

Your therapist thought this might help. Not a replacement for what you're already doing — something alongside it.

Twenty minutes. No pitch. Just a conversation.

WHO YOU'D BE TALKING TO

SIX YEARS SOBER.
TWENTY YEARS BEHIND THE CAMERA.

I’m Josh Woll. I spent over two decades as a filmmaker and director of photography before I stopped drinking, and I kept doing that work after. I’m based in Raleigh and I work with people anywhere.I’m a coach. I don’t diagnose, I don’t treat, and I don’t take the place of what you’re already doing with your therapist. My part is the ordinary week — the 6pm decision, the first wedding you go to without a drink, the question of what you’re building once the pattern stops taking up the room.

THE CALL

TWENTY MINUTES.
I'LL TELL YOU HONESTLY IF I'M THE RIGHT PERSON.

Sometimes the answer is that you’re better off with your therapist alone for now, and I’ll say so. No pressure either way.

Or Message me with a first name and the best way to reach you.

WORTH SAYING PLAINLY

WHAT THIS IS NOT.

Coaching is not therapy, and it is not medical care.

I don’t assess, diagnose, or treat any condition, and I don’t give medical advice.

Stopping can be medically risky for some people.

If cutting back has ever left you shaky, sweating, sick, or seeing things, talk to a doctor before you stop. Alcohol is one of the few where coming off it can be dangerous.

Keep working with your therapist.

I stay in my lane, and I’m glad to keep them in the loop if that’s what you want.
